ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

The Skin Care and Surgery Center was founded by John M. Williams, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard Medical School and Stanford University trained Board Certified Dermatologist, in order to provide the most comprehensive, highest quality, academic level of Dermatological care in a modern, friendly, respectful, unrushed, and caring environment. Patient satisfaction and positive results are our top priorities.

The Skin Care and Surgery Center is not a "skin mill", where patients are packed into a waiting room, only to be rushed through an exam and treatment plan, that often does not address each of the patient's concerns. Every patient seen at The Skin Care and Surgery Center receives their own individualized appointment. Unlike many practitioners, Dr. Williams does not double-, triple-, or quadruple-book patients for the same appointment time! All new patients receive their own 60 minute appointment, and all follow-up patients receive their own 15-60 minute appointment, depending on the level of care needed. Same day and emergency appointment times are always available and special appointment times can be arranged in advance. This schedule allows Dr. Williams to deliver the comprehensive, personal, patient-focused, unrushed care, that both patients and referring physicians expect of their Dermatologist.

The Skin Care and Surgery Center is conveniently located in the new Medical Arts Center II (MAC II) building on the campus of Overlook Hospital. We look forward to meeting you, welcoming you into our practice, and helping you manage your skin conditions, no matter how routine or complex.
